Garden Group
The Garden Group is a space for members with common gardening interests to share best practice, find new ideas, gather, and share tips and resources for projects, and gain more knowledge in what challenging gardening conditions can be here in the Gascogne.
It’s also a great way for the group to meet regularly and give an opportunity to get to know one another and each other’s gardens, plus to chat about other ideas and visits for the club in the future.

When a new member joins the GLC and expresses interest to join the Garden Group,
Nina – Group Leader, will get in touch with you directly.
2024 Planned Garden Visits
Visits will be arranged for the afternoons and to car share where possible.
Information on ‘how to get there’, and other visit details will be sent by email to those confirmed attendees closer to the visit date.

Chateau de Fréchou. Beautiful historic gardens. Picnic in the grounds.
05 September
Les Sourciers. An hydroponic growing farm with a presentation.
Autumn
Orchid farm - to be confirmed.
General principles:
• 3 euros per person per visit unless there is an entry charge to a public garden
• Money collected will go into a suitable presentation container with a little gift (from current float) and presented to the host at the event. This will reimburse for teas/coffees and buy themselves a gift plant
• Only members are invited to the private gardens, guests can come along to the public gardens
• For each event we will be asking for confirmation via reply form for those wishing to attend. First come first served for numbers limited events
• One week prior to event we will send a reminder out and ask for donations of cake
