November lunch Bistro le 9e Hôtel de France Auch

For November we booked a lunch at Bistro of the Hôtel the France in Auch centre.

Black pork from Bigorre, trout from the Pyrenees, hake from the Bay of Biscay or vegetables from our local producers… Around the Gers duck, you will find at the Bistro le 9e the best products of the Gers and the south-west in a menu that changes with the seasons. We also love the sweet treats of pastry chef Fabien Casassus, and the wine list from here and elsewhere. But we’ll tell you more about the choice of menu in an email later on.

Our chosen location offers an excellent opportunity for a walk around the lovely renovated shopping streets, or a visit to the museum or the cathedral, weather permitting of course. We’ve heard people talking about “making a day of it”!
